From us, to you 🤍. We thought it was only appropriate to share our ever‑evolving list of our beloved NYC local small businesses in Food & Beverage on Valentine’s Day. Whether it’s a coffee before starting the day, an after‑work drink, or weekend brunch, we give these our stamp of approval and we hope you will too. Scroll through our go‑to’s in our first guide and save the interactive map! Catch you in the neighborhood.

1‍. As Is NYC

With over 20 beer options on tap at any given time at As Is NYC, and an expansive drink menu otherwise, we’re sure there is a cocktail for you ‑ not to mention amazing food to pair with.

2. Charley St

This café takes a millennial approach to colorful food, with a focus on locally sourced ingredients and community-driven partnerships. Don’t forget to ask for the off‑menu Motiv Bowl.

3. Good Thanks Café

This Australian‑owned cafe serves real food, great coffee, and a great selection of natural wine. Stop by for breakfast, brunch and impeccable service. Plus, check out our Q&A with the Good Thanks owner!

4. Madhufalla: Green Planet Organic

After a long run in NYC or a strenuous class, this is one of the best hole-in-the-wall spots we hit the recharge button at. With fresh juices, smoothies and soups to‑go, they have everything you could want to refuel!

5. Manero's Pizza of Mulberry St

The only pizza slice on Mulberry St! Brought to you by the owners of Regina’s Gracery in the Lower East Side. You’re in for a treat with stellar NYC folds and an expanding seafood menu.

6. Parisi Bakery

Located just across the street from MOTIVNY, we drop into Parisi Bakery on our hungriest days for the biggest deli sandwiches. Order the Dennis if you can't decide what you want at the counter - we promise it won't disappoint.

7. Regina's Grocery

Transporting us to an Italian grandmother's home, at Regina's Grocery you can always get a Foot‑Long Hero and any other traditional Italian specialties. That's Amore!

8. Skin Contact Wine Bar

An intimate wine bar for a small date after visiting us sounds like a great idea. Head over to Skin Contact for some delicious tastings.

9. Wine Therapy

In the mood for a drink, but at home? Look no further. Pick up a bottle of specialty and organic wines at Wine Therapy to enjoy over dinner at‑home, or with friends ‑ bottoms up!

10.Worthwild

Hands down our favorite bar and restaurant in Chelsea. The perfect place to get a full spread of craveable American cuisine, craft beer and great cocktails.
