In a virtual physical therapy session, your physical therapist will:

  • Answer any questions you may have regarding your injury
  • Provide assessments and create an individualized plan of care
  • Address movement-related issues you may be experiencing
  • Review home exercises or training programs
  • Assist with workstation setups and ergonomics
  • Allow you to save time from commuting by working from the comfort of your home
Plus, it's a cost-effective solution without complications from insurance.

Is Telemedicine for Physical Therapy the Right Fit?

Virtual Physical Therapy can help people and athletes in all different circumstances. Are you feeling stiffer lately from the increased sitting and being stuck at home? Are you experiencing increased soreness from all of those home workouts? Are you dealing with something more chronic but now you have the time to address it? Did you previously have difficulty fitting Physical Therapy into your busy schedule? We’ve got you covered.

Getting Started with Telemedicine Physical Therapy

First, reach out to us via our Online Request Form and provide us with a little bit of info. Someone from our team will then get back to you ASAP. We’ll coordinate a session with one of our Physical Therapists based on availability and fit. If there is someone specific you’d like to work with, you can include that in the “details” section. You will connect via whatever platform is best for you (i.e. Zoom, WhatsApp, FaceTime, etc) and you’ll be on your way.

The Process of Telemedicine for Physical Therapy

Your therapist will take a subjective history, bring you through a thorough evaluation, and review your findings. You will then be prescribed a plan of care that is individualized and tailored to you. This plan will include an exercise program, utilizing the methods that we’ve found to be so effective with our in-person clients. It will also address your training and other lifestyle factors, as they are now more relevant than ever.
